UFC ATHLETE PATRICK SABATINI

UNDEFEATED
IN THE OCTAGON

After a prolific run on the regional fight scene and winning the CFFC Championship Title for the second time, Pat Sabatini signed with the UFC and joined the sports biggest stage in 2021 where he maintains an undefeated record in the promotion and has earned the title of “Rookie of the Year."

"Just when you think it's all over, it's ACTUALLY just beginning”

Former CFFC Featherweight Champion Pat Sabatini is featured in this UFC FIGHT PASS Short Film Series “Step Into Our World” on his road to the UFC.

About PAT

It all began in the Philadelphia suburb of Bristol, Pennsylvania when a young Pat Sabatini had his head shoved into a toilet by a school bully. It was at that moment Pat knew he was never going to allow that to happen again.

Pat was enrolled in karate, specifically Tang So Doo and soon after took up the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu then Wrestling. The bullying faded as his martial arts career progressed and his confidence rose.

He would go onto to be the first one in his High School to earn 100 wins in Wrestling. He’d continue his career wrestling NCAA D1 at Rider University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Business Ethics.

At the ripe age of 17 Pat fought in the cage for the very fist time, kicking off a stellar amateur career where he earned a record of 11-1. He went pro after signing with Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) in 2014 eventually earning the coveted CFFC Featherweight Title, before a brutal setback that left him second guessing his career aspirations.

After recovering from a devastating arm injury Pat was determined that nothing would stop his rise to the top of the sport. He would return with a vicious knockout before re-claiming his CFFC Championship Title and earning a call to the big show.

Since signing with the UFC Pat has won every fight in dominant fashion, including a “Performance of the Night” award in his second promotional outing.

When Pat is not at the gym training or coaching you can find him helping out at the family flower shop. He also enjoys ice hockey and spending time with his friends. He’s passionate about Anti-Bullying, Special Olympics, and working with those who have Autism or learning disabilities.
